The land subsidence spreading factor χ provides a useful straightforward indication on how much of a gas/oil reservoir compaction induced by field development migrates to ground surface with a possible adverse impact on the stability of low‐lying coastal areas. This factor depends primarily on the ratio between the depth of burial and a representative horizontal dimension of the reservoir. However, an important influence is also exerted by the active bottom/lateral aquifer hydraulically connected to the field (called “waterdrive” in reservoir engineering) that may undergo an extensive depressurization also after the field abandonment, thus contributing to enhance the overall land settlement. In the Northern Adriatic basin, Italy, χ is evaluated using a nonlinear finite element model of three representative gas reservoirs (Chioggia Mare, Dorotea, and Dosso degli Angeli) surrounded by important bottom/lateral aquifers in the interval depth between 1000 and 3300 m. Results show that χ may easily approach and even exceed one for the deepest field as well, contrary to the prediction of land subsidence based on the compaction of the gas‐bearing formations alone, that can thus be largely underestimated.  相似文献

The characterisation of traditional Italian pasta obtained by mixing amounts of toasted whole meal with re-milled semolina and other ingredients was obtained by means of physico-chemical, rheological, mechanical, sensory and image analyses. The toasted meal showed higher ash, fibre and protein contents than re-milled semolina. The replacement of percentages of re-milled semolina with the toasted meal and soft flour increased tenacity and decreased extensibility and strength, making the dough less suitable for pasta-making. The P / L values were indices of high starch damage. The replacement of part of re-milled semolina and water with toasted whole wheat meal, soft flour and eggs increased the optimal cooking time and the amount of water absorbed during cooking but made the other cooking parameters worse. The image analysis provided evidence of the changes induced by the use of toasted wholemeal, soft flour and eggs in the microscopic structure of pasta protein and starch.  相似文献

A simple model is proposed for the temperature field within an unconfined semi-infinite thick aquifer, with groundwater flowing parallel to the terrestrial heat flow in the recharge zone, and perpendicular to heat flow in the other parts of the aquifer. The results enable evaluation of the extent of the influence of the recharge zone, once the thermal and hydrological parameters are known. Beyond this zone, where thermal equilibrium between water and rock is reached, water temperature reaches the constant highest value, and water movement cannot be revealed by temperature measurements. Moreover, over,on the basis of the range of influence of the recharge zone, the regional water pore velocity can be inferred.  相似文献

The present work deals with the results of an experimental investigation on heat transfer in water cooled vertical pipes, for thermal–hydraulic conditions ranging from forced convective flow to mixed convective flow. The flow of water in the pipe is upwards.Experimental data confirm the reduction in the heat transfer rate for mixed convection in upward heat flow, mainly due to the laminarization effect in the near-wall region (buoyancy effect) . They are in a very good agreement with numerical methods, such as the k-model.A new method for the calculation of the heat transfer coefficient in upward mixed convection heated flow is proposed. It is based on the well-known superposition method (heated downflow) modified accounting for the phenomenology of the upward heated flow in comparison with downflow heated conditions.  相似文献

This paper reports an investigation on the Bunsen reaction. An experimental campaign was conducted by means of a stirred reactor. Runs were carried out at a constant temperature in the 30-120 °C range, following a semi-batch procedure by feeding gaseous sulfur dioxide in an iodine/hydriodic acid/water solution. A specific analytical procedure to measure the hydriodic phase composition was implemented. It was observed that both the amount of absorbed SO2 and its conversion lowered as the temperature increased. Secondary reactions were beyond the detection limit in the reactor, even at low temperature and low iodine content. The purification of the produced hydriodic phase was also investigated. It was possible to satisfactorily reduce the impurities content without the occurrence of secondary reactions only when high temperature and high iodine content were applied.  相似文献

Inherited retinal diseases (IRDs) are a heterogeneous group of conditions that include retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA) and early-onset severe retinal dystrophy (EO[S]RD), which differ in severity and age of onset. IRDs are caused by mutations in >250 genes. Variants in the RPE65 gene account for 0.6–6% of RP and 3–16% of LCA/EORD cases. Voretigene neparvovec is a gene therapy approved for the treatment of patients with an autosomal recessive retinal dystrophy due to confirmed biallelic RPE65 variants (RPE65-IRDs). Therefore, the accurate molecular diagnosis of RPE65-IRDs is crucial to identify ‘actionable’ genotypes—i.e., genotypes that may benefit from the treatment—and is an integral part of patient management. To date, hundreds of RPE65 variants have been identified, some of which are classified as pathogenic or likely pathogenic, while the significance of others is yet to be established. In this review, we provide an overview of the genetic diagnostic workup needed to select patients that could be eligible for voretigene neparvovec treatment. Careful clinical characterization of patients by multidisciplinary teams of experts, combined with the availability of next-generation sequencing approaches, can accelerate patients’ access to available therapeutic options.  相似文献

Photoactive membranes coated with TiO2 and Pt/TiO2 nanostructured thin films were produced by one-step deposition of gas phase nanoparticles on glass fiber filters. Pt/TiO2 nanoparticles (0–1.5 wt.% Pt content) were produced by flame spray pyrolysis, starting from liquid solutions of the Ti and Pt precursors, and then expanded in a supersonic beam to be deposited on the filters. The nanostructured coatings were composed of crystalline nanoparticles (mainly anatase phase), without any need of post-deposition annealing. The so obtained photocatalytic membranes were tested in hydrogen production by photo-steam reforming of ethanol in an expressly set-up diffusive photoreactor. The reaction rate was found to increase with increasing the Pt content in the photoactive material, up to 1.5 wt.% Pt. The use of these membranes allowed a significant increase of the hydrogen production rate compared to that obtained with the same photoactive Pt/TiO2 films deposited on a quartz substrate.  相似文献

In situ two-dimensional synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction investigation combined with Rietveld method data analysis were performed in order to yield a complete and quantitative phases structure evolution of the polycrystalline mixture 2LiNH2 + KBH4 + LiH during H2 desorption. While a first-principles, purely thermodynamics approach of the system predicted a single dehydrogenation step reaction at relatively low temperatures, it is assessed experimentally that the reaction occurs in two steps with first the formation of Li2NH at ca. 230 °C due to the reaction between LiNH2 and LiH plus hydrogen and ammonia evolution, followed by an additional reaction of the resulting phases with KBH4 at 360 °C, which releases hydrogen and leads to the formation of the monoclinic and tetragonal Li3BN2 polymorphs. Besides pointing out possible limits of a purely thermodynamics approach inevitably relying exact knowledge of experimental quantities, it is concluded that before assuming it viable for on-board vehicle use, additional stoichiometries may be worth of investigation in order to assess any existence of lower hydrogen desorption temperature of such system.  相似文献

High gas temperatures can be reached inside a hydrogen tank during the filling process because of the large pressure increase (up to 70–80 MPa) and because of the short time (∼3 min) of the process. High temperatures can potentially jeopardize the structural integrity of the storage system and one of the strategies to reduce the temperature increase is to pre-cool the hydrogen before injecting it into the tank. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools have the capabilities of capturing the flow field and the temperature rise in the tank. The results of CFD simulations of fast filling with pre-cooling are shown and compared with experimental data to assess the accuracy of the CFD model.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The present article reports the anthocyanin content in the berry skin and wine of the Italian red grape cultivar Aglianico (clone VCR11 grafted onto 1103 Paulsen), one of the most ancient vines and famous for its deep‐red colour. Anthocyanins were extracted from frozen berry skin in an acidified methanol solution. The extraction mixtures, monitored for 120 h, were analysed by high‐performance liquid chromatography. RESULTS: The extraction from berry skin of delphinidin, petunidin and malvidin appeared to be a time‐independent process, whereas the concentration of peonidin increased linearly with time. Peonidin‐O‐acetyl‐glucoside was transferred from skin more slowly than petunidin‐O‐acetyl‐glucoside and malvidin‐O‐acetyl‐glucoside. The anthocyanin composition of the resulting wine showed that the total anthocyanin content was about one‐tenth of the corresponding berry skin content. The ratio acetyl/coumaroyl anthocyanins in the wine was sharply higher than the value in berry skin (0.85 and 0.10, respectively), indicating an enrichment of acetyl derivatives in the wine. CONCLUSION: Levels of single anthocyanins in wine were not always correlated with those detected in grapes, as they were affected by winemaking. The high values of some anthocyanins in Aglianico wine could ameliorate its quality, increasing the chromatic properties, aging stability and product acceptance.
